 "RIA plus" newspaper talks with the deputy director of the Ukrainian Student Union Volodymyr Cherkasenko about life and work.

- Why your company is interested in such industries?

- "Ukrainian Student Union" established in 2001 at the initiative of student organizations of Ternopil and all Ukraine as well. However, we are working since 1994 in this sphere. At first we worked only with student programs. We have formal agreements on cooperation with Ternopil educational institutions, including economic, pedagogical, European universities, music college. Apart from educational, we offer excursion tours, business travels, help in visiting relatives abroad and so on. However, we do not offer employment programs. We provide visa support for different age groups of people who want to go abroad.

By the way, we do not require previous fee for our services. And when people contact us, we have an individual approach to each case. Everyone is informed of all possible of departure. Actually, you can find out more about about our services on the website www.usu.te.ua.

- Going abroad for educational programs is now offered by a lot of companies. Why are your services special?

- We provide services on the non-commercial basis for full-time students. For example, a young person wants to go to the volunteer camp, which itself is free. But for the help with departure some companies take money from such student. In our company a person willing to go abroad for some educational or youth program pays only for the visa. He also pays the cost for paperwork. Comparing the cost of travel, which are offered on the web sites of  programs and embassies with ours, they are obviously the same.

We also care about social security of our young people overseas. As a prerequisite for a student to be able to study abroad is language knowledge, we send them to language courses. The obtained knowledge will help them pass the language test.

- Who usually resorts to your help?

- We provide services for students and people who have already graduated.
For example, a businessman who, for example, wants to find a partner in America can approach us. We assist him in such search, as well as prepare documents for a visa and so on. Also people who want to go to visit relatives abroad come to us.Actually, we can prepare anyone for the interview at the embassy.

- What new programs do you offer for Ternopil citizents?

- Among the recent offers - the tour to canada for the fans of the Winter Olympics . However, professional immigration in this country is also urgent. And now we are the only in Ukraine who offer fans to visit Olympics in Vancouver. As far as the state has not bought the tickets "reserved" for the Ukrainian people.

By the way, perhaps, in early February, the Canadian Embassy will cease to issue visas, as the the Olympics start on February, 12. So fans should hurry.

I will add that our new program "Green Card in Canada" is currently not widely known. More popular is American "green card" that one has to win. Our program is not a lottery, but a guaranteed departure to Canada, namely Quebec. Requirements for departure: age, preferably within 25-37 years, higher education qualification, minimum the degree of Specialist or Master. Also, immigrant must have professional experience of at least six months. This is a professional immigration, so the language test is not required. The requirement for Quebec is only knowledge of French at a basic level.

- What is the geography of travels in general?

- We offer a large number of programs in different countries: America, Canada, UK etc. By the way to go in the U.S it is not necessarily to win "green card". You can simply apply for immigration to the embassy. New Zealand is interested in good specialists,in Germany usually go on a national basis. However, the most optimal for Ukrainians, in my opinion is the program of immigration to Canada.
